
MADISON HATTEN

Known for her warm, resonant lower register paired with sparkling coloratura and an athletic, kinetic stage presence, American soprano Madison Hatten is most recently recognized in the 2024–25 season as Judith (cover) in Bartók’s BLUEBEARD'S CASTLE with Opera San José, the title role in Tchaikovsky’s IOLANTA in Concert (Tahoe Symphony), and Baroness Gondremarck in Offenbach’s LA VIE PARISIENNE (Pocket Opera), a role stepped into "flawlessly with confident singing and acting" - Victor Cordell, Talkin' Broadway.
Other highlights include her Mozartian trio—Donna Elvira in DON GIOVANNI (Boston Opera Collaborative), Countess Almaviva in LE NOZZE DI FIGARO (Janiec Opera Company), and Fiordiligi in COSÌ FAN TUTTE (Boston Conservatory Opera)—where she reveals “her fine sense of pitch that gave unusual accuracy and delicacy to her coloratura possibilities,” while exuding “an exciting physicality in her performances.
